I’m a serial entrepreneur and marketer who’s worked on both sides of the fence: running my own product manufacturing business and leading marketing teams for big brands. I understand the pressure to grow, the realities of margins and logistics, and the joy of seeing a product you love out in the world.
I started out creating my own product manufacturing business – designing strollers and nursery goods for brands like Jeep, Sesame Street and United Colors of Benetton.
We scaled to $10 million across five countries, then I exited and turned my attention to helping other product brands do the same: grow through smart partnerships instead of just bigger ad spend.
I also have a not-so-secret love: building beautiful homes. I’m that person walking down the street staring at cladding profiles, studying facades and hoarding fabric swatches and paint chips. I’ve built homes that have appeared in magazines, TV commercials and have won HIA awards. When I say I love it, it’s not a hobby – it’s part of how I think about design, lifestyle and the products that live in those spaces.
Over the years I’ve placed products into shows like The Block, Selling Houses Australia, Grand Designs, The Living Room, and even sourced products to help build the Big Brother house.
What I love most now is solving problems for product brands by finding the WHO – the partners, platforms and people who, together, can create an irresistible solution for their shared customer and grow side by side.
That’s why I wrote SWAP! Marketing Without Money – it’s an invitation to work together, to trade what you have, and to create something better than you could alone. And honestly? It’s way more fun.
